Unhappy

All sorts of issues but if you have already upgraded here is a possible out.
Worked for one client of ours and another online.

Remove the original Apple RAM or any mixed RAM sets.
Single matched sticks seem to work okay and we've seen the occasional "mixed set" issue before.

In the clients case removing the 2 x 128 cured the issue for now.

The 1.6s become unuseable so warn any friends.

Just bumping this.
Another client same thing - the RAM take out made his useable as well.
Circulate it a bit -- there must be others with the issue. Thanks

What exactly is the issue? My 1.6 lost its directory today (for about the 4th time in 5 months) and was unrepairable by Diswarrior or any other app. I have already installed the firmware update.

I'd love some advice on what to do with this thing, its the worst computer I've ever owned!

You've installed the update and it's working fine
What's your RAM config???

We'd be happy to trade you up or at least have a look at it for you. I can think of a number of reasons depending on what you are doing.
Email if interested.
