iMovie question

I can't believe I don't know this. Blame it on the chocolate lover's desert

My new MacBook has iMovie 08 on it along with all the other iLife apps. Are they free or will I eventually get nagged to buy them?

Don't want to start depending on them if they're going to go away. I know they used to be free on a new computer, but don't know if that's still true.

Take care, Margaret

Still free with a new Mac.

Note: If you don't really like iMovie 08 or if you preferred the working style of iMovie 06 you can download the earlier one for free from Apple.

Have fun - the "nagging" won't begin until you open up one of these apps AFTER the future version of iLife comes out - then you'll be advised that there is a newer version available for purchase but when that happens the apps won't stop working, and if you check the box you won't see it again - so I wouldn't call it "nagging" in this case.

Have fun!

Thanks Eggman. Getting old is no fun, but I'm sure glad I know who to ask

Spell checker didn't catch that one - it was a very good dessert

For their own sake, they shouldn't.
I think chocolate lovers would melt pretty quickly in the desert.
