MBP 17" Hi-Res option experience?

Hello,

I'm interested in hearing from anybody here with experience with the MBP 17" with the Hi-res (1920x1200) screen.

I have this resolution on my 24" iMac so know what it is like for space, but I'm wondering what it's like to use on the smaller 17" display.

I'm considering one but debating the $800 extra to go from a 15" to the 17" hi-res.

Thanks.
