Arrow Macbook RAM Upgrade

Hey everyone I am upgrading my 1gb of ram macbook to 1.5gb ram. In the long term should I just get the 2gb upgrade so I dont ever have to worry about it again?

P.s I do a lot of music editing, listening to music, and always have several internet browsers open.

For the price of the RAM, I don't think you should do the transition from 1 to 1.5 to 2. Cut the middle man. You'll save on shipping! And right now you can get 2GB for like 60$ on Canada Computers.

I am getting my 2 gigs for christmas. 1.5 would be pointless, you would have more ram for sure, but it would run slower then the matched 1 gig you have.

Matched pairs are overrated

Comprehensive testing of the matched pair theory has found the matched pairs to deliver less than a 2% speed boost. It is much more important to have more RAM. Buy as much as you can afford - and don't obsess about the matching nonsense...
