Its not an official release for the public. Its a developers release, and there's been a version of 10.4.9 for developers for a while now. http://www.macrumors.com/2006/12/21/...to-developers/

So you thought you'de waste ours as well? Shame on you!

Anyway, not a total waste as I noticed that iSync was among the fixes. I haven't had a proper synch since 2004 or thereabout...
