Maybe i just suck at mac pricing? Remindes me when the iMac G4 USB 2 model's came out in 2004.. i bought the 15"inch model.. it was amazing.. probly one of the best macs ever created... then came the dreded day i found out i couldent pay the bill.. and i was forced to sell m,y beloved iMac G4... for 1200 bucks... i only payed 1600 new... i was so surprised i had made that much!!!... anyways... turns out now that the Model of iMac i had is so good most people won't sell it on eBay because there perfect i guess... and since that day iv kicked myself in the face... over and over again... because i loved that machine... anyways
if you want it and are willing to pay 450 bucks... then i'd esily make a deal with you (since your an ehMac member) and give it to you for 350 - 400 bucks.. whatever you feel is fair....
are you just saying that.... or do you mean it?
No I am being serious, the iMac special edition is in my view and im sure many would agree is an important part of Apple history. That’s why I would do anything to get my hands on one. Right now though I might end up paying the difference for the iMac core duo because I have had so many problems with my eMac, Apple gave me some choices to either refund me, or get a new eMac. I opted to pay the difference and get the iMac core duo through my Apple authorized reseller and service provider.
I will still keep your system in my mind because eventually, not now will end up getting one. What is the condition like? Do you have any pictures?
I'm unsure of the 'collectability' factor on this model, but when you consider the amount for a new mac mini, I'm not sure about the $450...although it does have some decent upgrades.
Perhaps try the eBay completed listings for what they're currently going for...usually gives a fairly accurate (if sometimes a bit high) representation of what you can expect to get given the current market.
When my fist clenches, crack it open...
