Q. Where to Buy cables in GTA

Hi all, I live in Mississauga and I'm setting up a home theater in the basement. As part of the setup I'd like to attach my Mac to the BenQ 6210 DLP projector and Sony Surround sound system. I need a VGA cable - about 30 to 40 feet long and a mini audio 1/8" cable of the same length.

Thanks for your suggestions

Steve

Give Vistek a call. They do have a 50 footer on there site. They maybe be able to help with the audio cable to.

Do a search on Google and you can make your own with best quality cables at a fraction of cost. You could pull the wires through your ceiling for hidden cabling.

Make sure that they will let you return it if you're unhappy with the signal quality. Is DVI not an option?

Ports on the Mac ATI 8500 card are VGA, DVI (going to Dell 20"), and Super VIdeo. Ports on the Projector are Super Video for VCR, and VGA which I'll use for both the DVD player (component to VGA cable) and Computer. I'll also need some sort of KVM switch box thingy for the 2 VGA sources. I looked at Tiger Direct's web site and they have most of what I need.
