PowerMac G4 Question?

I'm looking at buying a PowerMac G4 Sawtooth at 450 - 500 MHz. All i really wanted to know is, could i have a iSight video chat with my girlfriend..
like 1 on 1... none of the fancy convo stuff.. just her and me with iSight's?

will that work?

Oh yea i'd have a minimum of 512MB ram but i'd esily get 1 - 2 GB's if i had to

thanks alot

- Myke

You would have to use the iChatUSBCam utility from ecamm.

http://www.ecamm.com/mac/ichatusbcam/

It's because of your system specs and iChat requirements.

That software is for USB-based webcams only. Not sure what guytoronto was referring to when he pointed out that piece of software. The iSight is FireWire-based, which doesn't require any additional software with iChatAV.
