No Paris Keynote...

Good catch ... just adds more fuel to the speculation about Wednesday.

As you mentioned ... hopefully big things are in store.

The interesting thing is that Jobs will still be there, and that there will be a Q&A session with the press. That still suggests something interesting might happen in that timeframe - just nothing dramatic like a major redesign of a product.

It depends on how they do that. Apple doesn't do "traditional press conferences" - the only time they've done something like this before was after the Lamp iMac inotrduction. And even then, it was simply Apple Execs standing around in a gaggle while the so-called "media" (seemingly made up mostly of 16 year old boys) fired idiotic questions at the executives.

So, if Apple does it that way, I wouldn't hold out much hope for any announcements.
