Weather widget broken for St. John's
First of all, to get it to work you used to have to type in "St. Johns" because it couldn't handle the apostrophe. Then the province was listed as "New Foundland". I can easily get by this but as of a couple of days ago it stopped working altogether. I sent the accuweather company an email about it but they haven't responded. I love my new mini and Tiger but I wish this worked. Does anyone have any other weather widgets they use?

Likewise in Saint John
I was able to get Saint John's weather report to show up, not by using Saint John, but St. John, New Brunswick. For the last week or so it has not been working, even though if I change it to Fredericton or the small town of Sussex (45 miles away) it will work. Mind you with the weather we have been getting who needs a forecast......RAIN, RAIN and More RAIN!!! :(

I use Konfabulator on my Windows XP machine (I know.. I know.. but Mac's aren't cheep :-P$) and it uses the same
I couldn't get Moncton working untill I just read these posts, and now the spelling "Moncton, New Brunswick" just pulled up the info.
Thanks, and I'm going to try this on our Tiger machines tomorrow.

some macs aren't cheap. recently, the pricing has become more reasonable. a mini is aprox $700 and ibooks can be had for about a grand if you're lucky and buy the old model when the new ones are introduced.

i tried the konfabulator weather widget for a while but found it annoying to always have it sitting on my desktop, so i gassed it. it works though.
