It's finally happened, Last stable release of FireFox running in ElCapitan.

Wondering what else is out there that continues to be supported on ElCap as I have absolutely no desire to further update my OS.

Failing that anyone had success or failure with High Sierra on a secondary partition, ElCap running on the primary? Doubt my 2011 MBP will go any higher.

You can go up as far as High Sierra If you want"

It also supports the last version of OS X 10.10 "Yosemite" and OS X 10.11 "El Capitan" -- including Mac-to-Mac AirDrop and AirPlay Mirroring capability -- but other advanced features are not supported. It is capable of running macOS Sierra (10.12) as well, although it does not support the Universal Clipboard, Auto Unlock, or Apple Pay features. Finally, this model is capable of running macOS High Sierra (10.13), and it supports HEVC (High-Efficiency Video Coding), but it does not support hardware accelerated HEVC. It is not compatible with macOS Mojave (10.14) or later versions of the operating system.

My 2011 iMac can do the same but I like a lot of the features that were still left in MacOS Mavericks 10.9.5, and likewise my browsers are all out of date so they tell me, at least Google Chrome does which is my main browser but so far everything still works just fine using it. And Firefox seems to be up-to-date, and my Safari went goofy years ago so I hardly ever use it.

Maybe you don't need to worry about yours???

That thing in the top of your head is your best protection and use it for avoiding all the scams that are out there and utilities like Malwarebytes for Mac certainly can help keep your System clean and protected.

For the moment most of the websites I visit still work fine in Snow Leopard on FireFox 48.

One or two require a switch over to ElCap. Usually the sites such as CTV.ca

Hopefully those will continue to work quite a bit longer as I have no real desire to update the OS any further. Everytime I update I lose more control of the OS.
