RIP iTunes?

Will not be of my concern, have hated it all along!

I have a huge sound library (42GB huge like, every repair job coming into my place gets robbed of its sound lib, on mutual consent..., have bought only 1 song in my entire career).

As to an iTunes replacement, have you had a look at Vox Music player?

https://vox.rocks/mac-music-player

As to an iTunes replacement for software distribution on elderly iDevices, have you had a look on:
- iMazing:
https://imazing.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobC...SAAEgIQwvD_BwE

- Dr. Fone repair:
https://drfone.wondershare.com/itunes-repair.html

- MacXMediatrans:
https://macx-mediatrans.en.uptodown.com/mac

Bye bye, iTunes. Or do we need your code library?

Looks like syncing, backup, and restore are all moving to the Finder.

I would definitelt highly recommend having and using a copy of iMazing regardless of the age of one's iDevice,

And iMazing is currently ON SALE — Ending In: 5 days — $19.99 (normally $89.98) 77% off by DigiDNA

You can get the deal here:
https://www.macheist.com/sales/imazi...-mac-windows-5

NOTE: I am not associated with the developers or the company in anyway, and Just one very satisfied iMazing user that can do way more and create a better backup and Restore than Tunes ever could.

Super SALE Ending In: 5 days!!!

Yes, they announced that at WWDC. I like that it is now independent of iTunes.

Don't think it really changes much in functionality other then not needing to open iTunes when you want to do something with your iPad or iPhone. Honestly though the only thing I did do was add movies to my iPad. Everything else is done without iTunes.
