If you are adding and using a lot of fonts I would recommend some software beyond Apples FontBook. Personally I use Font Explorer Pro. I activate based on the job and it usually auto activates when I open the job. Only had issues when trying Apples FontBook. Font Explorer Pro will highlight bad fonts and not activate them.
i had gotten out of suitcase and others - since i no longer do design work.. just the basic fonts that i need for my corporate look and vendors who provide us layouts..

glad i didn't reformat my old MBP yet.. will spin it up and compare fonts in library and /user/library..
very annoying.

personally I would not be adding fonts the user library, one wrong thing can cause a nightmare.

There are free options out there for font management, heard good things about this one

Thanks so much for the info, but I do wish wish such developers would include the minimum OS system requirements at least somewhere on their pages. Most annoying when they don't and it seems to be happening more and more lately at many other sites.

I have the exact same problem with that exact same site. Plus, the font size has become very small on that site.

I have the same problem with a few other sites too.

I have not installed any outside fonts other than what came with MS-Office long ago.

Cheers

Wow!!! The font size for me when viewing that page is very large using Google Chrome, but regardless, that's why I usually have a font resize option available, some pages need to be made larger, some pages need to be made smaller for satisfying viewing, at least in my case.

I think some stupid sites are designed only for small cell phone viewing with their miniscule or huge fonts. Absolutely no consistency and too often.

OK, I found a fix online and it worked for me.

Open "Font Book", click on File | Restore Standard Fonts. That did the trick.

Cheers

Yes; apologies - I did read that you had added fonts, but that fact slipped my mind.

Cheers
