Mail Problem

Greetings one and all,

I just installed MOJAVE OS on my MacBook Air and now my MAIL appears to be functioning properly but I have that ~ squiggle (tilde) next to my INBOX and under MAILBOX it says "TAKE MAIL ON-LINE". I have sent mail to myself and it works. Clicking on "Take mail online" does nothing as far as I can see.

How do I correct this situation?

Thanks in advance.

Have you restarted? When I get that there is something wrong with the email server or my net connection. There have been a few times it just popped up and restarting fixed it.

Maybe somrthing here might help fix things:

Odd though that you are able to send and receive an email from/yp yourself.

Or do you have multiple email accounts you might be using???
