MacMini Server Upgrades - turbo charge

I bought a couple of Mac Mini Servers QC i7s - late 2012s..
upgraded the ram to 16GBs on both
and then to make the units fly - plus maximize the storage I installed a couple of Seagate firecudas.. 2x2TB each in each unit.
I am using them as servers - i did a soft raid level 1 - with a company called https://www.softraid.com
been using them for over 10 years, amazing product.

now these minis fly like they have SSDs..
firecuda - by Seagate - 5 yr warranty - hybrid SSD/HD - low voltage

Nice job!
I note that the 2012 i7 quadcore Minis do not ever go down in price, since they are twice as powerful as the '14 Minis, which seem destined to never ever ever be updated.

thank you
agreed - they are the most upgradable and customizable - a lot of folks take them for granted.
