What happened to MacBook Pro refurb prices? - you save 2% ???

This is ridiculous, savings of 2 or 3%, max. I see is 9%

Is this somehow because of the low value looney compared to the US $$$?

Not sure why they are showing that. Go to Apple's site and they show 15% off.

Did you not compare the pricing between the two sites? The refurb.me MSRP pricing is before the dollar dropped and the price was corrected. It shows MSRP is $1199 for the crappy base MBP, and it's now $1349.

Right, and the prices on that site are not in line with current Apple pricing. Why would you go there instead of to the official Apple one anyway?

Because they send you an email if the Mac you're interested in is back in stock.
Popular Mac refurbs usually get sold within hours after being restocked.

But I also thought that refurb.me just picks up the pricing and discounts from the Apple website - obviously not.
