No push email since iCloud?

Hi folks; I transitioned my MobileMe email account to iCloud on my iPhone 4 and seemed to lost push email. I'd only seem to get emails whenever I went to the Mail app and fetched it manually. Checked my settings, they were fine. I read something about how if your MobileMe iCloud wasn't your first iCloud account you put in (I put my AppleID one I used for iTunes, which is different, first) then push wouldn't work.

So, new iPhone 4S acquired, put in the MobileMe account as the primary iCloud account, still no push. Occasionally it seems to pick up a Push Email, but more often than not it only shows up when I manually fetch. I even set the new phone up as a new one, no restore from backup.

Did they remove Push Email as a feature from MobileMe/iCloud? Anyone else noticed any similar issues? I can't imagine it's something I'm doing, since it's happen on two phones.

I still seem to be getting them. My bet would be server issues. I've found iCloud to be less than reliable since I transitioned my MobileMe account. But I'm betting it's all the new users.

Server issues. I was getting them on my iPad, not on my iPhone. Try quitting mail.app or restarting phone if it persists.

May not be server issues since it seems to be hitting iPhones but not iPads from what I've seen. May be a iOS 5 on iPhone issue.

I was experiencing this today to until I rebooted the iPhone while testing. Messages immediately before rebooting wouldn't show up unless I polled. Immediately after the reboot all the queued messages showed up.
