Any difference with 4.1?
Proximity issue , Bluetooth, etc.

+1 Never any issues. And my signal strength went up when i did the grip of death test....go figure! :lmao:

I haven't used it enough since the upgrade to know for sure if the proximity issue is fixed, but I *think* it is fixed. I had the problem two or three times beforehand, and have used the phone twice since yesterday and neither times was there a problem.

The other issue that was annoying me appears to be fixed - the compass / magnetic sensor was borked on 4.0.x but appears to be fixed now in 4.1

I didn't experience signal strength / death grip problems.

Edited to add: I was never aware of any bluetooth issue so I guess I didn't have that problem before. Bluetooth always worked flawlessly for me on the iPhone 4.

I almost had a heart attack when my iPhone died after installing the 4.1 update..

I had to hold down the home+on/off buttons for 15 seconds to force a full reboot.. and then it started working again..

Whew!

I had no proximity/bluetooth/antennagate issues before the update and everything is still working just fine!

I didn't have any issues before, and don't notice any difference now other than HDR for photos and game centre.

Not sure if this is a fix or a bonus, since I drive truck. I have found that I am able to leave my iphone plugged in the truck and still use my bluetooth from quite a distance away. I would say about 50 feet.
