Repair iPhone

So. iPhone 3Gs survives high speed motorcycle crash, only to be dropped 3 weeks later and smash the screen. A hellish battle ensues with a large corporation which shall not be named, and the phone is returned, unrepaired, 8 weeks later....(don't get me started)...
will Apple, if sent the phone, repair it? Anyone have any experience with this...??

Apple's repair options and rates. Call first and arrange the repair, there is a 2-3 business day turn around, or for an additional fee, you can have a refurbished unit sent to you first.

Does the screen still work? There are actually 3 parts to the screen, front glass, digitizer and LCD. The LCD is the expensive part. Many broken screens continue to function, meaning the front glass has broken, but LCD is fine. Its an easy repair that you can do yourself if you are adept for about $15, or have a service center like iRepex do it for about $30. If the LCD is gone too, iRepex will do the repair for about $110.
