yeah u will lose all your jailbroken stuff.
i talked to my friends today that had it jailbroken prior to the update and when they restored they're phones and got the 3.0 update, they said it wasn't worth wasting their time. So i suggest you should wait for the jailbroken 3.0 to come out so that you will be able to do the same things you can now with your jailbroken 2.2.1 version

Yes, I had my 3G 2.2.1 jaibroken and decided to take a chance yesterday and upgrade to 3.0. I can confirm 100% that you WILL lose your jailbreak and unlock ... Cydia, Installer etc. disappear and apps will not work.

I upgraded my 2G iPhone which was jailbroken and unlocked (it's a secondary travel phone so I didn't really care about the jailbreaking part).

I upgraded to 3.0 using the latest iTunes build. It was no longer jailbroken but it remains unlocked. I believe this works only with the 2G and only if it was originally unlocked using PWNAGE.

How is it compared to 2.2.1 Jailbreak? Faster? (On a 3G) I found the old jailbreak to slow the phone down a bit, does it still? I only did this once a while back when i first got my 3G in Aug 08. I'd only do it if it feels like an untouched apple OS, speed wise.
