Common phone issue?

hello all!

if only i knew those annoying banners *reduces* upon registration, I would have done so long ago! anyways...

the problem I will talk about I think everyone faced if they ever had stay in touch with friends. i have few friends in different continents and to reach them by (i)phone i have to buy "calling cards". that marks the easy part!

once you dial the calling card number and verify yourself, you are asked to enter your friends number!! darn, the number is my contact!! well now you can't check the number and type (i can't remember the whole number - gold fish syndrome!). so flip between contact and keypad until you get all the numbers provided the calling card does not timeout on you!!

every time I do this I wish there was an ALT+TAB (sorry windows guy here) feature. alas!! so question is, will it be ever possible? none of my phones helped really, apple, nokia, all same...

any thought/comment/rant welcome!

thanks for reading
