Rogers contract with Apple

Hey all, new to the forums.

Was wondering what is the current length and details of the iPhone to Rogers contract? My buddy is convinced that the iphone is coming to Telus very soon. I tell him no way, just looking for some verification.

Thanks in advance!

I think what your buddy is referring to is the rumor that Telus is starting to movie to GSM. I can see this happening, but it will take a little while. AFAK, the Rogers/Fido deal is not exclusive, so when Telus does go GSM, they will be able to get the iPhone.

No idea when that will happen though. I'd suspect that the first area to go GSM will be Vancouver in time for the Olympics. All those Europeans coming to watch the Olympics will want to use their GSM phones.
