I agree the default one is not great, it has never been this bad before or this far off. Another freezing day at -22 C despite my car temperature and all radio stations reporting a mere -2 C. It is bonkers on my watch as well which sucks, not sure if I can change where the weather forecast comes from for my Apple Watch. I like having it there on my watch face when I look at it.

Carrot Weather has a ton of complications. I'm sure other apps do too.

Surely to Betsy, there must be some decently accurate Canadian weather iOS apps or widgets available at almost a quarter of the way through the 21st-century, even if it's a commercial one that has to be used.

But it seems that almost anything can be fixed If you throw enough money at it these days, or maybe that's just a basic requirement now.

The other problem is finding the proper source and correct data.

my favourite is forecast bar on ios and as well as the mac companion app

Ive been exploring WeatherCAN by Environment & Climate Change Canada. Its locally accurate and has with a clean layout.
