If there are, they're probably busy buried in their projects or beta testing???

We've developed FileMaker Go solutions for our customers. So the question is, what are you looking for?

I do some iOS development mostly as a hobby at this point. Why do you ask?

sorry. just logged back in.

Just trying to get a feel for the environment. I'm looking to take a stab @ it using PhoneGap and wanted to see if there was some feedback? + how is Swyft?? Went to a meetup that took a enterprise turn, so didn't get much from it - sadly.

and i'm really just making the simplest of apps - imagine a... mortgage calculator. Get the user to input values, and spit out answers. Pretty simple, and would certainly like to code it myself.

I'm sure this might be beyond the scope of these boards, but figured there must be a few iOS devs here - of all skill level.

H!

I mis-read henrihelvetica's question, wondering if a preview of iOS 8 beta was being sought :/ .

Honestly.. go native with x-code. I don't know if you have any programming experience, but iTunes U has good courses if you have experience with general programming.

I echo what psycosis said. If you're truly only interested in iOS, then there's no need to look to PhoneGap. Go fully native. Right now it is a great time to dive into iOS app development using Swift because its so new that essentially everyone is a newbie with it. Lots of fresh tutorials and activity surrounding it. Exciting times. With the introduction of "Playgrounds" in Xcode 6 its never been easier to get started quickly and have some fun!

Misread my words. I said something LIKE a mortgage calculator - but not one @ all. Just trying to draw a parallel to the simplicity of what I'm trying to achieve.

but thx.
