Of course, there is someone who collects them:

Vintage Lawn-Boy Mowers - Gas Engines - Gas Engine Magazine

Even better, here's a YouTube video of a 1954 model running. I didn't know there were models powered by Briggs engines!

I don't know what year the model was that was given to us by my father in-law but it wouldn't have been a 1954 more like the 70s and it had a Briggs engine... it finally gave up the ghost in about 2002. Had I decided to put the money into it it probably could still be running.

it's a gas engine. This is not my photo, but it is the same model--I love the art deco styling.

Well, good luck in getting it retrofitted and working once again. Paix, mon ami.

Flying Lawn Mower - YouTube
It is my nature to take a topic and go off tangent, so here it is, a flying lawn mower,
My friend's dad belonged to a model airplane club and he had a video of a club member's flying lawn mower like the one here. Just hilarious!
35°C but 41 with humidity. There's a possibility the temperature is going to be even higher.
