Can't get into my Yahoo mail anymore,
Now they want a phone number to give me an access code to get in.
Fat chance they are going to get my phone number.
Bad enough that my Yahoo account was hacked last month,
Now they want me to give them even more information.
Forget it Yahoo, I'm dumping my account now.
I'm just glad I managed to delete my contacts list last time I was in there.

On the never ever list is Never Ever have a contacts list on any web based eMail. Use address book or create your own database but do not trust that data to the cloud.
I find it fascinating that all of the free webmail now want a series of Q & As in case you forget your password. Many of the questions look more like the intent is to mine data rather than additional PassWord security. Seriously if someone claims to have forgotten your password and gets it passed on by guessing your favourite pets' name was Spot or Fluffy, how secure is that?
For those that realize these additional passwords must be as difficult to crack as the main, that is three more jumbled non dictionary passwords that have to be recorded.
Personally my major complaint with Yahoo Mail is that new improved version is painfully slow compared to its predecessor.

I made the mistake of using "Exchange" on my iPhone, Used for Yahoo and Gmail.
Seemed like a good idea at the time, I've stopped using it now though,
I've removed all the information from it and deleted it from my iPhone.

Now iTunes is requiring security questions. What a pain!
On new accounts or when authorizing downloads?

So, you guys complain your mail was hacked, and the providers are now taking steps to secure it better, and you don't like it.
Yahoo wants your mobile number to enable two factor authentication.
iTunes wants security questions so people can't call up and reset your password. If you are worried about them mining data, give false answers, and write them down and store them in a safe place in case you need them again. Give different false answers for each site.
Is it a pain? Maybe, but you can't have your cake and eat it too.
