Tribute to the greatest man who ever lived in the modern age

Why Nikola TESLA was the greatest geek who ever lived

RIP Tesla...We miss you and are grateful for everything you have given us.

Not that evil Edison though, May he rot in hell.

The Oatmeal is too late on the Tesla bandwagon. Who doesn't know how great Tesla is?

I'm familiar with Tesla, but I find the op's comments about Edison offensive in the extreme:

I get email with vile stuff like this, but thankfully I can delete them. Sadly here, I cannot. They sure deserve to be deleted as they border on hate.

OP was referencing Edison, not Einstein.

I still think Edison was a great mind, but there is a lot of controversy surrounding him.

Sorry, my mistake, I stand corrected, but still no reason to have anyone 'rot in hell'.

At least Niagara Falls has a statue of him - most don't even know it was all his idea and work.

Also he invented and contraption - that converted any car to electric - which could go over 20 hours and he did over 700 miles, but it never need any charging as it took energy from around us to power it.... - during a media event - a dumb report made fun of him and that - he destroyed it saying simple people don't deserve it.

He was the greatest inventor that ever lived and ever will hands down..Sadly during the last part of his life he stopped writing his inventions down and kept them in his head..

BTW - Edison didn't only steal from Tesla he stole from other inventors as well.
One of Tesla's friends was Mark Twain
we should have a day called Tesla Day - to thank him for the everything we have today..
