Figures such a stupid and useless piece would be in the Sun - natural home of the illiterate. Look around. Most white vehicles are fleet vehicles.

HOWEVER: occassionally I have in the past provided links to instructions or illustrations. I will not do so in future, in fact I will not be offering helpful advice for free just to have my words pirated until the sleazy ad linking desists. I will, however, answer PMs.

I call BS on this.. Just thinking of people I know and how they drive and the colours of vehicles they have, not one of these statements bears any truth.

My guess...borrowed from some 1962 psych experiment about personality types and preferred colours. Nothing to do with cars...it could have been shirts.

this is all BS and I will agree with you..
The color people drive is basically whatever deal they got from the dealer at the time of what was available.

I know a few people that drove teal or sky blue.. - I know for sure it was not their first choice but 'deal' of the day .. LOL

I drive a white (Calcite white ) car - because i think it takes the longest to dirty and looks great on that car.. Wife drives metallic grey SUV because it looks great in that color and takes a while to get dirty as well.

I remember when insurance companies - would rate red cars higher than others because people were to drive faster etc..- well that is false, when I had a red car, i drove normally and my insurance was fine.

Buy the color you love and you will be fine.

Original Story

Black car are associated with empowered personality, not easily manipulated
Blue cars are usually owned by introspective people who are cautious drivers
Brown car indictates a no-nonsense, down-to-earth personality
Grey cars are chosen by calm, sober drivers dedicated to work
Pink cars are often chosen by gentle, loving people
Purple cars drivers tend to be individualistic, original and creative
Red cars are driven by energetic people who are fast talkers, movers and thinkers
Silver cars are usually owned by cool, calm and slightly detached drivers
White cars are associated with fastidious nature
Yellow cars are typically chosen by idealists with upbeat, optimistic attitudes
One could say the same about skin color: most black people I know are empowered personalities and not easily manipulated, while most of the blue people I know are introspective and cautious. Jury's still out on the chartreuse people though.

Not as much as your reasons for avoiding red. Very strange…tell me about your childhood.

I totally wanted a purple car, but all they had was blue. Should I repaint to match my personality?

That's up to you and whether or not the expense will make you happy... if it does then go for it.
