Tried to watch the Olympics on my iPhone 4s. Great images. No sound.
Today my wife tried it on her iPad 2. Same thing. As she walked around the house, the sound came on for 2 seconds.
I tried on my iMac, OSX106.8, Safari 5.1.7, No even an image came up. But a message to "install latest version of Silverlight". I've downloaded it, but not installed it, as I see it's a Microsoft application.
So, what needs to be done here to get images and sound on all our devices?
You will need Silverlight. It's MS' version of flash. It's kind of on it's way out, but CTV is using it.
What's strange though is it they're obviously not using it on the iOS apps. So I don't know why that wouldn't be working. I have streamed on my New iPad, iPhone 4, MBP and iMac without issue, even on a slower connection.

For the Mac OS devices, as the other poster said you need to install Silverlight.
With regards to the iOS devices, my guess is that CTV is using similar technology for their Olympics app that they are using in their regular iOS app. That app is well known for sound issues. Check the comments section on the App Store and that will usually give you an idea if the problem is at your end, or if it is with them.
Mine was actually working until I updated Silverlight to a newer version. Now nothing will play lol. Haven't had much luck with my iPhone as far as any live streaming either.
Works fine on my girlfriends $300 laptop though in Chrome or Firefox so I have just been watching on there.
