Why does it really matter? If your credit card number is being used by someone who shouldn't, contact your credit card company, inform them of it, they deal with the rest. They will be able to find where the card was used and all that. I would be more concerned with making sure I was not stuck with a large bill, then what Apple store they were using it in.
