Not from what I've seen. There's also no comparison to the way that Fantastical makes it easy to view your calendar with a click, including a list of upcoming events.

Thus far, I haven't seen anything in Mountain Lion with similar functionality.

I've used it for a day now and see how it works. It's like a better interface to deal with iCal. I can still look at the ugly, barely customizable iCal calendar in full size, then see the appointments neatly arranged below the Fantastical App. I'm enjoying it.

Thanks for the heads up on Fantastical.

I have only recently actually started using iCal (SL 10.5.8) a few months ago, and personally I think the old Claris Organizer that became Palm Desktop was actually better. Regardless...

I was getting tired of launching iCal, as well as it's ahem window display and tried out the older trial version 1.2.3?? of Fantastical ($20.00 for paid mode) some many weeks ago, which was replaced with the 1.3.1 version, now all installed and now working in paid mode and registered at its existing half price.
