Downloading YouTube Videos since Safari 5.1.7

I am having trouble downloading YouTube Videos since upgrading to Safari 5.1.7 a few days ago.
I go to the Activity Window as I usually have but the Video file is no longer listed e.g. 6.5 MB of 100 MB.

Other Web Sites are fine and list the Video as normal e.g. Vimeo.

Anyone else experiencing this?
Check you may also have the same problem if you haven't downloaded any Videos since Safari update.

I ran into a goofy download thing yesterday downloading some "normal" .wmv files from a site with the updated Safari 5.1.7 running in SL.

Clicked to wmv files to download, nothing showed up in the downloads window, there was a brief reload of the site and then nothing. It happened several times so I just gave up.

Then later I noticed the wmvs were on my desktop, my Safari setting for any downloads. Strange behaviour change.

I'm going to try checking again later today and see what happens.

I've found that the only way my MBook ('07) will download them is by holding the "option" key and double-clicking the largest file in the activity window. Didn't have to do that before. Not sure what changed.

iSkySoft = chinese spammers. I would be extremely cautious in and dealings with companies that and it SomethingSoft or SomethingShare.

(Microsoft optional on that)
