My name is mike, i too am from Victoria. I am new to this whole MAC thing, which i have been interested in for awhile, but could never afford a MAC, so am trying to fix the one i got for free....in relation to the question about the iSight board working in my iMac without iSight, can i install an ALS board into it...not sure if mine has ALS or not...but lets just assume that i dont....thanks for your time

I came across a Fantom GreenDrive 1TB Hard drive at Tiger.ca for $149 and thought it would be all the storage we would ever need. Have you heard anything about this brand. The reviews seem good, except for one fellow. It has a USB and an eStat connection, but I don't know if either of our computers can connect with eStat, however that is done. This is all getting far more technical than we have ever been.
