Airport express questions: why it won't reset password and can I use two expresses?
We currently have an airport express plugged into our cable modem. It works fine with our mac powerbooks. I just bought a sony dvd player with netflix streaming capabilities, but realize there is no spare ethernet port to plug the dvd player into, as the airport express uses up the only one. I have an additional airport express that I brought over from my former apartment and after googling, it appears some people use two airport expresses, with the second airport contained the hardwired device. Even though I have no idea how to configure this, I thought I would try it out. My first issue is that when I tried to configure the second express, it asked for my password, which I have long since forgotten (it hasn't been used for the last year). I tried to do the reset by pushing the tiny button but it just isn't working and I cannot figure out why. I am living in a different city with a different cable provider-- could that be an issue? Or is it possible the cable modem is set to work with the existing express unit and doesn't recognize the other unit? Sorry if this question is confusing.

I believe you have to push and hold the reset button while plugged in.
