How can I share iTunes with Mac and PC?

I'm trying to set up iTunes sharing so that I can share my library with two PCs in the house. I also want to be able to stream the music that's being played on one of the PCs (so that I can listen to what's being played in the other room, in my room through my stereo). Any way to do this?

enable sharing under Sharing in iTunes Preferences. iTunes will detect and display other shared libraries in Shared Music under Sources whenever it detects another client using Digital Audio Access Protocol. Airport Express allows you to stream music through AirTunes, and can connect to an output through a 3.5mm jack.

Hi,

It is important to note that all iTunes users must be logged in in order for sharing to work.

If you want to stream specific music to multiple computers in proper synch, you need to run other software like Slimserver. It works with you iTunes library and is controllable from other computers on the network. Once any computer gets a song playing, all computers can log in to the stream.

Good luck.
