Moving iLife 04 From Panther To Tiger?
Hi,...finally took the plunge to OSX, with my purchase of a 12" powerbook 1.33GHZ, combo-drive etc.. Been using OS 9.2.2 for a few years before.
What I was wondering was, the powerbook came loaded with Tiger, and I received the Panther disks. How can I get iLife 04 off the Panther disks, to use with Tiger? Also, if anybody can reccommend a good portable, Mac compatible ,Dvd burner. Thanks in advance, to everyone who answers. |

The Panther disks don't contain iLife 4 unless it was an original install disk. If that's the case, then you might be able to extract the packages using something like Pacifist. However, I don't think it was that straightforward when I tried a couple of years back. Bite the bullet and buy iLife 5, much better package anyway!
