I would like to listen to some audio files I found o the net and they are real media files and I thought I had istalled a real media player but I still am getting error messages.
Error message #1 says:
This program does not support the protocol for accessing 'pnm://www.btw=scshow.com/ringsideradio/dukepart1.rm'.

The second Error message reads:
The attempt tpo load 'Accessing URL:
pnm://www.btw=scshow.com/ringsideradio/dukepart1.rm' failed.

I am wondering if maybe I downloaded the wrong program or if there are any other programs that play real media files.

Any help would be appreciated...
Thx

MusicMatch Jukebox is one of the only other programs that should play these file types. But as Far as I know, it isn't mac compatible. Try Reinstalling real, but get the realone player, if you didn't have it already.

Who knows; it could be poor Mac support for the RealMedia files, or it could be busy servers, or it could just be Real acting it's usual flaky self.

Whenver possible, choose QuickTime or Windows Media Player (in that order). Real just plain sucks. However, you need the website you're connecting to to offer the choices; if all they have is RealMedia, you're stuck with it.

RealMedia Player is also just this side of spyware (they're not evil as in hackers, but they do collect data about your habits if you leave the settings as is). Configure the preferences carefully.
