How to get download folders into iTunes in proper order
Good day all,
I need some help understanding the procedure that is required to get folders that have been downloaded from a site into my downloads and then into iTines in order to then put it on my iPod.
Let me explain a little better. I have the latest update for iTunes. I downloaded the Bible in Mp3 from a site. Each book was downloaded into my downloads in individual folders. I unzipped each one. I am now trying to get them into iTunes from downloads, but when I do it does not put them in order. eg: Some genesis then some Ruth then some Exodus etc.. My question is how can I get them into iTunes in the order that they are in downloads? Hope this makes sense.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Guy.
I believe iTunes places them in alphabetical order.
What if your renamed the folders and prefaced each book with Bible1Genesis, Bible2Exodus, Bible3Leviticus etc. Can't guarantee it would work, but it should.
so you have created a playlist in iTunes? i.e. not just imported the files into iTunes but actually hit the + button in the bottom left corner, created a playlist and organized them in order there and still you see them "get mixed up"?
Thanks broad,
Yes I have done what you mentioned. I seem to have got it now. 2 things I noticed, #1, I was highlighting the whole book and dropping it into the playlist, and then the second etc... When I did that they went in what ever order they wanted. #2, as well when I was dropping the book after the last one I must not have had it perfectly positioned. I do not have the best of eyes. #3, I had to do one at a time that was real long but it works now.
Thanks for all your help I really appreciate it.
Thanks Sinc, in Downloads they are listed as 01Genesis,02Exodus, 03Leviticus etc... The minute I try to put them in iTunes they go how ever they want.
That is exactly why I suggested putting "Bible" in front of each number which would have arranged them in order. Without the bible in front, they revert to the alpha order after the numeral, (taking the letters into play of each book).
At any rate, you got it solved using broad's suggestion which worked and that is the main thing.
