I'm realllllly getting tired of the SBBOD. Safari is generally the worst culprit (even with Click2Flash installed to strip out the crap).

However... Lately I'm peeved at Pages '08 (v.4.04). I launch the program, get the template chooser, select the blank portrait page, and then have to wait. The gear icon spins 38 times, and finally a page pops up.

That seems just a little bit ridiculous... no?

V. 4.0.4 is Pages '09, FWIW. I use it and I'm not having the same problem (MB 6,1, 2gig Ram, OS 10.6.4).

Hmm.... right, '09. It's iLife that I haven't upgraded yet... Time for some mega-system-maintenance-crud-cleaning-up... and maybe some font verification....
