Greetings. I wanted to log into my Mac as Root in order to trash some stubborn files. In OS X10.1 I could do this with my "Administrator" password (same password as my account; I'm the sole user). I can't seem to do this in 10.2 - it won't accept my password. Did I have to do something special to enable this option when I updated to Jaguar?

Thanks for the reply, RtC; that's what I was looking for. What had happened was that I got a new HD and transferred OS 9 system to it before installing Jaguar. Something was wrong with the "Desktop (Mac OS9)" file I duplicated, and it didn't show up on my OS X desktop. I wasn't able to delete it without Root privileges.
