I have a brand new 09 13" Macbook Pro. I notice when I push either the up volume or down volume controls on the keyboard, their is a second or two delay before I get the puckering sound telling me the volume is being changed.
Also when moving something into the trash, their is a sound delay from the time I right click and select trash to the time it's in the trash.
I'm not that concerned with it, it doesn't affect the performance, but just curious if anyone is also experiencing this problem.
I'm wondering if Apple is aware of this small issue, and maybe a update may be in the works?
it could also be an indication that the processor is working hard... you might want to check activity monitor to see if something is hanging up, or running the istat widget to keep an eye on things.
Well checked activity monitor, nothing out of the ordinary, it shows .50% for user and system cpu usage, I have nothing opened except activity monitor, finder and what ever else is running on its own.
I had the same problem, and upon upgrading the RAM to 4GB in my MBP, there is no more 1 - 2 second delay. Probably more like .25 - .5 sec delay if that.
