Question Clock sometimes wrong when leaving Sleep?

Hi,

Got a new macbook pro, and when I close the lid, leave it closed for the night and open my macbook the next morning, I notice that sometimes the time shown in the upper left corner is off by a few HOURS.

Opening the adjust time window fixes it, but still.

any ideas why this happens? (not always)

Is the unit set to fetch time from an Internet server? (System Preferences > Date and Time > Set date & time automatically.

If not, check it off and see if the issue continues.
