Rogers Outgoing SMTP and Mail
My father seems to be having outgoing SMTP issues when sending mail using the Mail App on Rogers. I checked his outgoing mail server settings, and they all sound correct (smtp.broadband.rogers.com). These settings have been working for him on his computer for the past six months or so, until yesterday. His iMac software is up-to-date and he's running OS 10.5.5.
The error he gets says his email address was rejected by the outgoing mail server: smtp.broadband.rogers.com.
Kicker is, he called Rogers Tech Support, and they said they don't support Mac Mail, and gave him the number to Apple Technical Support.
Anyone else having issues sending mail in a similar setup lately?
