Motorola H700 + MacbooK pro

Hi all,
I'm having a few problems with this headset. I picked it up for $30 on sale at Rogers and it works great with my iPhone.
However I REALLY wanted it for my macbook pro to use with skype. I got it to pair and recognize as a headset, but when I go into audio properties and select it as the input device (mic), all I get is static. The audio levels show this too, just random static noise.
HOWEVER, if I reboot my computer and set up a fresh pairing it works great for about 2 minutes and then reverts back to audio loop/static.
Any advice?

I know you got it from Rogers, but was it from an corporate store or an authorized dealer that buys merchandise from Rogers, or from other parties and resells it? I'm asking since there are millions of units of fake H700s out there.

Sometimes the fakes are just as good as the originals, they're made in the same factories by the same people. Sometimes, not so much.

It's real, I got it from Rogers Video.
