My Airport Extreme has finally died

My Airport Extreme who I lovingly named (or SSID for you geeks) The Widow Maker, took its final breaths today and has passed on.

While the Airport Utility was able to find its remains it was never able to access it and after various deliberations (hard resets) I had to put rest to that distressed yellow led light that was blinking away as it took it's last breath.

Autopsy: The Airport Utility was able to see the unit however when you hit "continue" it gave the infamous error "An error occurred when trying to access the wireless apple device. Error type -4".

The Widow Maker will be handed over to the undertakers (Apple Geniuses) at the Morgue (The Apple Store) and hopefully they will be able to give me Widow Maker ver 2.0 (yes, it is still under warranty till December 12, 2008)

Replacements are like-for-like exchanges only, regardless if your model has since been discontinued. (Unless the Apple Store is feeling overly generous.)

Man I come up with the best SSID names.
