Time Machine is taking over my external drive
As the title indicates, Time Machine is taking up space more quickly than I expected.
I'd like to delete my backups and partition the drive to better keep Time Machine in check. (I can sacrifice rewinding back a few weeks.) However, I also have files there that I'm not able to back up anywhere else.
Is there a safe way to shrink the partition and then create a new (Time Machine) partition from the same space? Or would this place my non-Time Machine data at risk?
