.mac Galleries ~ Is it possible to add to gallery in .mac?
The ,mac gallery is truly great way to post/share pics from one's iPhoto library. It is easy for family/friends to view, download pics.
However one rather frustrating feature is that it appears an individual gallery is a one shot deal. You select the pics in iPhoto, click publish and that is it.
If you want to add further pics, no luck, a 'new' gallery is created.
Does anyone know if there is anyway to edit an individual gallery?
I do know one could add 'upload pics' to 'options' when publishing, but this is a tortuous workaround. One could then export from iPhoto as a .jpg to say desktop, then upload to a gallery but it would be great if a publisher had a way to edit.
Any ideas, comments?

Create a new album, copy the contents of the published folder, add the pics you want, delete the published folder in iphoto, (this deletes it from .mac) then republish.

???
Um, it works for me. I simply drag photos from another album into my existing .Mac web gallery, add captions, then give it a few minutes to auto-update. I'm not sure why it does not work this way for you.

Duh~~!!!
Trust a fellow Aussie and a Victorian neighbour to inform me of the obvious.
Of course, so simple a solution.
Feel shame to admit I actually went into Apple 'help' pages...was no advice re editing an 'published gallery'.
Should have come here in first place!
NOW ~ If only Apple would take over Adobe ( as has been 'speculated' in past and a good case was made for just that last week in a blog ) AND Nikon would let Apple fine tune their very promising Capture NX Software, the world would ( at least as far as digital photography goes ) be a far better place.
Thanks again!

Great pics of early Surfers .... in your .mac gallery.
"Surfers!!" ... How simple words can unleash memories. In the sixties, that was 'the new world' to those of us , young at the time in 'old NSW" . ( of course when one is seventeen, everything which came before you is old, old fashioned, even irrelevant ...)
I hitched hiked up there with a school mate from Newcastle ( Hunter Valley) to escape the potential wrath of my parents if my Leaving Certificate ( Matriculation) results were not satisfactory in the good old days of 1960. Surfers was sure low profile back then too!
Sailed over a scary Southport Bar in my 30 ft (9m?) Clansman 'Coramandel' in 1979. The official 'Sailing Directions' said... line up the Norfolk Island pine with the church spire .... of course the tree had gone as had church, so had to call ( seeing 'dumpers' off the bow ) the volunteer coastguard at Southport for assistance!
Still have it all captured on a Super 8 film .. . which I transferred to Hi8mm.
Sorry...succumbing to a bit of nostalgia here.... .
Will have to move that to the iMac and DVD via my Sony Digital 8 camera before it or I give up the ghost!
...

Been here half my life.
Hey True Blue, don't say you've gone
Say you've knocked off for a smoko
And you'll be back later on
Hey True Blue, Hey True Blue
Give it to me straight
Face to face
Are you really disappearing,
Just another dying race,
Hey True Blue.
True Blue, is it me and you?
Is it Mum and Dad, is it a cockatoo?
Is it standing by your mate
When he's in a fight?
Or will she be right?
True Blue, I'm asking you
Got siblings in Brissy, Tweed H and Gundaroo way !
Sorry to hear about the 'Baggy Green" loss....
India Wins Cricket Test to End Australia's Record Bid (Update1)
By Grant Clark
Jan. 19 (Bloomberg) -- India produced one of its most famous victories to end Australia's bid for a world record 17th straight Test cricket win in Perth today.
The top-ranked Australians, chasing a target of 413, were dismissed for 340 on the fourth day to lose by 72 runs, halting a run of success stretching back to December 2005.
Well... today, ( 0200 tomorrow here) we'll cheer for that often obnoxious but hard working, pit bull Leyton Hewitt tonight against #3 Novak Djokovic in the so far amazing Aussie Open.
Why I'll even go hit a few tennis balls tonight ( indoors of course as is only 4C here), but will not clip any Indian ex pats I might come across under the ear ... after all mate that is not Aussie sportsmanship!
And we may need their help to subdue the 'northern territories of Pakistan before too long! Or we are wasting too many young lives in Afghanistan!
Do post your up to date pics via .mac on here!
Cheers
Paul
