MactheRipper problems

I did a search for a thread that deals with this but didn't find one. Googling didn't help either so I am posting it here in hopes that someone can help me.
I am trying to copy some DVDs that have copyroght protection on them. I have been using MacTheRipper for them and had been working fine, no problem. I tried using it the other day and it gave me a message saying that there is not enough room on the desktop. I clear stuff off the desktop and tried again, again same message. I tried changing the location for the files it creates when ripping it, didn't work. Why is this happening now? I have done this many times before with no problems. Is there another software like MacTheRipper that creates video_ts files? I don't want to create .mp4, only video_ts.

Thanks

How much space do you have left on your drive?

My desktop is only using 39ish mbs. After I burn the video_ts folder in Toast, I delete the folder so it doesn't take up space on the hard drive.

A common mistake new users of MTR make is forgetting to delete the VIDEO_TS file created by MTR to burn the copy of the disk.

Try searching "VIDEO_TS" from the Finder menu under file, or command "f". I bet you will find every one you have copied.

Delete these files and carry on problem free.

EDIT: Just saw your post above, but I would do the search anyway. It might just be the issue.

Emptying out the Trash solved the problem.

Thanks

Glad you found the files were there and got rid of them. MTR files are very large and build up very quickly. I could only rip a couple of movies on my first MBP without deleting them. The new one is much better, in terms of storing them on the much larger HD for viewing while travelling too.
