Question Svcd

I've recently purchased a MacPro tower and, I am attempting to view a manual that is on a cd, from a german manufacturer...it indicates that this is a SVCD and I simply cannot get this thing to run!....it's driving me nuts...the solution to this problem is probably hiding-in-plain-sight but, I'm just not seeing it - help!...fyi... I did manage to view it on my home dvd player however, the picture was skewed and the wasn't any sound...........hmm

That does sound like a PAL format SVCD.

Try opening it in the free VLC player on your computer

(Google "Mac VLC" if you don't already have a copy -- it's free!)
