best maintenance apps for Macbook

i mainly use my system to browse the web. which are the best applications to maintain speed and performance?

i've used Onyx and Mac Janitor, they seem to work well. anything else out there?

No other basic applications will do more than those two apps you already use. For more extensive optimization and repairs, use a product like Disk Warrior. DiskWarrior 4.

I second onyx, for sure! It's been quite helpful to me several times. Just helps to tweak things and keep an already great computer just purring along.

Ditto. I prefer Cocktail as well. Cocktail has "Pilot" mode whereas I don't believe Onyx does (at least, I've never found that option).
